Yogic principles meets Acting Technique! In these workshops, we dive into the connection between the 7 Major Chakras and Character Creation, looking at the 3 States of a Chakra – Balanced, Over Active and Under Active. By understanding how you hold your energy naturally, you can then shift this Energetic Signature into that of your Character’s, based on the text.
Through engaging discussion and practical exercises, participants gain a profound understanding of how Chakra imbalances manifest in character physicality and psychology, and how it unconsciously contributes to their lives off stage. We delve into techniques that help identify and address these imbalances, allowing actors to bring a sense of physical authenticity and impulse to their roles. All workshops include grounding techniques and guided meditation.
